How Smoking Can Really Harm Your Love Ones

The cigarette that you smoke won’t only affect yourself. It is been proven that smoking can cause disease in nearly every organ of your love ones if you are living with them. For every time you smoke, you are potentially causing disease to your spouse and children. The possibility of cancer because of you is highly possible.



Children’s illness is caused mostly be second hand smoke. Children who are under 18 exposed to second hand smoke have been related to pneumonia, lower respiratory tract infections, upper respiratory tract irritation, increased severity of asthma and asthmatic symptoms.



This also has been associated with sudden infant death syndrome, middle ear infections, upper respiratory tract infections, cancers and leukemia. Researchers have also found that second hand smoke affects children gums whereby about 70 percent of children who parents are smokers have gums or brownish or black in color.

which are non-smokers die as a result of caused by second hand smoke. Second hand smoke have also been related to nasal sinus cancer, cancer of the cervix, breast, bladder cancer, and the risk of a fatal heart disease.



Even as a smoker, you must have responsibility not to smoke in front of your love ones especially children because their body is still in the developing ages. Do not smoke in the house because the chemicals will get trapped your house furniture and your family may pick then up through the nose. Also do not smoke in the car when your children are with you. Of course, the best is to quit smoking as it will set out a good example because if you smoke, chances are your children will smoke as well.
